I began playing harmonica at 16 and was mentored by James Cotton, Junior Wells, and Louis Myers; getting to play with Magic Sam, Luther Tucker, Hound Dog Taylor and many others; and a personal friend of B.B. King from age 17. After a 35 year “blues retirement”, I'm back playing, here with a band of friends. Musically, this is my “debut at 72”. In my free time I'm a writer and substitute educator.
