about
This is the flip side of the story of ex's who remain friends. This is about that person you broke up with, and don’t want to talk to again…ever!
lyrics
I told that woman, don’t call me no more
Don’t ring my bell, don’t knock on my door
Don’t phone my house, ‘cause you’re all alone
An’ don’t call my office; you’ll get a busy tone
I’m done, oh baby, I’m done
Like an overcooked pot roast, take the fork out, baby, I’m done
Don’t call my brother, and not my sis
Don’t call my mom and dad, you’re only gonna miss
Stay away from club, stay away from my friends
If I ever want to talk, I’ll tell you where, tell you when
I’m done, oh yes, I am done
Like St. Louis ribs, take the fork out, baby I’m done
If you didn’t get my message, I’ll tell you one more time
Don’t call me any place, or any time
Forget my address, my e-mail too
Don’t want to be your Facebook friend, or, ever hear from you
I’m done, you know, I’m done
Like a Colonel Sanders chicken, take the fork out, baby I’m done

I began playing harmonica at 16 and was mentored by James Cotton, Junior Wells, and Louis Myers; getting to play with Magic
Sam, Luther Tucker, Hound Dog Taylor and many others; and a personal friend of B.B. King from age 17. After a 35 year “blues retirement”, I'm back playing, here with a band of friends. Musically, this is my “debut at 72”. In my free time I'm a writer and substitute educator....more
